Emily P. Freeman

Emily was born in raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. She graduated with honors from Wren High School in Piedmont, SC, and earned her degree in paralegal studies from Greenville Technical College in 2000. After working for several sole practitioners, she was hired by Carter, Smith, Merriam, Rogers & Traxler in March of 2003, where she provided legal support and assistance to attorney Katherine H. Tiffany for over 12 years before Judge Tiffany was elected to the Family Court Bench in 2015. At that time, she began working under attorney Travis V. Olmert. She continued working for Mr. Olmert at the Carter Smith Law Firm until May of 2022, when she joined Mr. Olmert at the opening of this firm.

Emily has amassed nearly 20 years of experience over the course of her paralegal career, primarily in the area of domestic relations and family law matters. Here at The Olmert Law Firm, Emily serves as the firm's billing specialist, office manager, and senior paralegal. She offers hands on support and legal knowledge from the start to finish of each case. She excels at prioritizing a diverse range of tasks, and strives to provide exceptional service to each client.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys crime documentaries, thrifting/antiquing, and spending time with her husband and three children, and her large extended family in the area. She is a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Piedmont, SC.
